A pathetic company with total disrespect and disregard for the customer. They have refused to accept a credit card because it was not issued in the US, even if they had accepted it in the past for years.
Only idiots would refuse payment because a credit card (VISA, Mastercard) is issued outside of the US. When I escalated the issue this is what I finally got for an answer, which was totally disrespectful: I am terribly sorry for the frustration caused. I was able to check with a supervisor and they confirmed your orders may not be going through due to the card used. I would suggest trying a US-based card to see if we can narrow down this issue.
If it is a card issue, we have recently partnered with iHerb to serve our international customers.

Misleading Ad That Advertises 30% Entire Order
They did not give me the 30% off the entire order like the ad specified, and there were no markers stating "Except Specific Items." I called customer service, and they only offered $10 on my next order. This is false advertising. A $60 order should be a little over $40, and then add tax with free shipping after a $29 order for the day as it's Black Friday.

This is the first time I have been this disappointed in Swanson.
I was told it was backordered, but that I should be getting it by now.
It's weeks late, and I've run out of the product.
I still don't have it!

I have been doing business with Swanson over the past ten years. Their products are of high-quality, and their service has been great up until now.
When I texted their number for service on an order, I waited for more than a half hour on hold! I was told they were backed up at the moment. I also get some call center in the Philippines, which it didn't used to be that way with Swanson.
Corporate greed has gotten the better of them! They outsource to Third World nations and don't staff them adequately while the CEO makes God knows how much.

The agent was very helpful and courteous. I just made a large purchase and found out today I could of used a coupon for savings so he did my order over to accommodate my request. Very nice personality.

Swansons has a REALLY WEIRD WAY of processing orders. Meaning they don't even put a hold on the money for 24-48 hours THEN they charge shipping SEPARATELY 2-3 days later when they finally ship the order.
Oh and good luck getting the order refunded after they've overdrafted your account by charging at weird times, they'll 100% blame the banks and you'll be lucky you get anything back at all.
Still waiting on what I thought would be a FULL refund but customer service says is only ten bucks (not my whole purchase) and swears they've already issued despite it not being in my bank. 100% sure they're crooks and I'll be telling everyone I know not to trust them.

DISHONEST, DISREPUTABLE COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I received an email saying 'thank you for your order' confirmation for almost $65.
worth of items. I had not ordered anything. The order was placed by someone in Georgia, and was to be sent to someone with my name in Texas. I live in New Hampshire.
The customer's name and address were clearly stated on the order and it was not me. Someone there was too stupid or lazy to make sure the order went to the correct account, and just picked the first person in their files with my name (evidently). This was the beginning of a nightmare. I immediately called them trying to correct the situation promptly.
I got nowhere on the phone, with the foreign person telling me they would 'talk to the supervisor' and get back to me. They never did. Instead they sent another email saying "MY" order had been cancelled! (It wasn't my order, you idiots!) They also said my account was "flagged" and I should change my email address and my password.
Are you kidding??? UM, NO! They actually tried to punish me for their stupidity. (I have lived at my address in NH for over 25 years, and had my email address for almost 20.
The person who actually ordered has the same name, but lives in TEXAS. I have never lived in TX). In addition. the person who actually ordered this merchandise has still not been informed that their order was cancelled because they emailed me instead of to the email address of the 'orderer'!
All this has just happened this week. In addition to trying to resolve this by phone and getting nowhere, I emailed them multiple times, also to no avail. I found the email address of their LEGAL DEPT. and I have just emailed not only customer care but also the legal dept.
and demanded that they completely DELETE MY ACCOUNT, AND ALL MY INFORMATION from their site. If I don't receive confirmation of this, we will have our attorney contact them. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN, and want everything deleted from their site, and to be taken off their mailing list.
STRONGLY ADVISE that you buy elsewhere. I have now found very good deals on what I need on Amazon, and it's not Swanson brand.

Ordered two separate orders of vitamin supplements for the very first time and each order was shoved about a third of each package with JUNK MAIL.
I will NEVER DO business with SWANSON again. That was RIDICULOUS.
I ordered PRODUCT - NOT their garbage that came with it!

I get called Constant text from you where I can order what I need online with a coupon code. I search your number to order.
That doesnt work why. Because I get someone that says there are no saving codes at this time. Your texts offering purchase codes are nothing but a scam. If someone doesnt call me back in the next hour.
I will report you to the better business bureau. And I will never order from you again. You dont even have a customer service ordering number. If I call it Im told I have to go through a 3 rd customer service site.
And then they tell me to pay a dollar to get ahold of you.
I have talked to my friends & the same thing happens. This is total SCAM

I get sent emails at least once a day I dont wanna be continuing to get emails anymore. I wish there was someway we can do this cancellation online then have to call you to do this.

You need to check with your credit card’s issuing bank. Visa for example charges the merchant a 1.15 to 2.4% transaction fee.
Merchants absorb that amount.
On top of this fee there is an added 3% foreign transaction fee. Your bank probably made the change to no longer waive the fee or there is some other issue with the exchange rate with the new tariffs I place.
